NOW ENROLLING: INTEGRATIVE WELLNESS FACILITATION PROGRAM — APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN
A New Model for Wellness, A New Standard for Care.
The Mind & Body Movement Institute was founded on a simple but radical belief: that true, lasting wellness cannot be found in silos. It emerges at the intersection of psychological insight, somatic awareness, and relational health.
For too long, the wellness industry has offered a fragmented map. We have been taught to seek one practitioner for our minds, another for our bodies, and to navigate our relationships with whatever tools we have left. The Mind & Body Movement Institute was created to be a place of integration. We are a home for the whole person—a space where clinical rigor meets compassionate practice, and where the journey inward is supported by a community of fellow travelers. Our work is not about quick fixes or temporary relief; it is about building the internal architecture for a lifetime of regulated, relational, and resilient living.
Meet Our Founder
Marie Benjamin, MBA, MFTA
Integrative Wellness Strategist & Relational Health Educator
Marie Benjamin is a trauma-informed integrative wellness strategist, relational health educator ,and a dedicated student of the human condition. Her work exists at the nexus of modern psychology, contemplative practice, and somatic healing. With a background that spans the worlds of corporate strategy (MBA), clinical therapy (MFT), general psychology (MA) and embodied wellness (I-AYT/RYT-500), she brings a uniquely integrated perspective to the complex challenges of modern life.
Marie founded The Mind & Body Movement Institute as a direct response to the limitations she observed in traditional wellness models. She saw a need for a space that could hold the full spectrum of human experience—the strategic and the soulful, the psychological and the physiological, the individual and the relational. Her approach is rooted in the belief that we all possess an innate capacity for healing and growth, and that our role as practitioners is to provide the tools, frameworks, and relational safety required for that capacity to flourish.
As an educator, Marie is known for her ability to translate complex psychological concepts into accessible, actionable practices. As a strategist, she helps individuals and organizations move from a state of chronic stress to one of conscious leadership. Above all, she is a dedicated advocate for a more integrated, compassionate, and embodied approach to mental and relational health.
The Five Centers of the Institute
To bring our integrative vision to life, the Institute is organized into five distinct but interconnected Centers of Excellence. Each Center provides a unique pathway into the work of relational-somatic integration, meeting you exactly where you are on your journey.
01
The Center for Somatic Practice
This is the heart of our embodied work. The Center for Somatic Practice is where we begin the journey back to the body through trauma-informed yoga, regulated movement, and conscious breathwork. It is the physical and philosophical foundation of the Institute, offering a sanctuary for practice, exploration, and nervous system regulation.
04
The MBM Community
Wellness is not a solitary pursuit. The MBM Community is our membership and group container, offering a space for ongoing connection, practice, and support. Through curated circles, workshops, and shared experiences, the Community provides a vital network of peers dedicated to the path of integrated living.
02
The Center for Relational Wellness
Dedicated to the art and science of connection, this Center houses our coaching and group work. Here, we apply the insights of attachment theory and interpersonal neurobiology to help individuals, couples, and groups cultivate healthier, more conscious relationships with themselves and others. It is a space for brave conversations and profound relational growth.
05
MBM for Organizations
Extending our reach beyond the individual, MBM for Organizations brings our proprietary frameworks into corporate and educational settings. We partner with businesses, schools, and leadership teams to build cultures of psychological safety, emotional intelligence, and sustainable performance. This is where we apply our model at scale to create healthier systems for all.
03
The Center for Professional Development
This is our educational arm, created for aspiring and established wellness professionals. The Center for Professional Development is home to our flagship Integrative Wellness Facilitator Program, advanced workshops, and continuing education opportunities. Our mission is to elevate the standard of care in the wellness industry by training practitioners who are as skilled in psychological theory as they are in somatic practice.
